How to know, or determine when, an item with medatype=texts will be processed for full-index searching |
I uploaded this weekend a number of items, each of which contains a pdf file. Those upload/derive tasks have all completed. However, I cannot search the content of these items. For example, even searching for a string within an item's preview results in the message box stating, "Sorry there was an error... The text may still be processing." When will the item be indexed? Besides trying searches until they succeed, is there a metadatum or some state associated with an item that will indicate when full-text indexing has completed?
Thanks.

sorry, there is no reference for when it might be indexed. i'd suggest at least 1-2 weeks. also, fyi, some cannot be indexed at all for a variety of reasons.
